USTA AND ROSSETTI SHAPE THE NEXT ERA OF THE US OPEN

Yesterday, the USTA unveiled a bold $800 million investment in the US Open and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. This multi-phase transformation will be completed in time for the 2027 US Open, without interrupting play or fan access during the 2025 and 2026 tournaments. Key upgrades include a reimagined Arthur Ashe Stadium, with a new grand entry, expanded concourses, improved circulation, upgraded concessions, and a reconfiguration of premium clubs, suites, and seating. These improvements are made possible by relocating player facilities from within Ashe Stadium to a brand-new Player Performance Center. The new center will deliver best-in-class amenities, offering both indoor and outdoor performance and recovery spaces tailored to support peak player performance.

None of this would be possible without the decades-long partnership between ROSSETTI and the USTA. Gino Rossetti led the development of the campus and the design of the original Ashe Stadium in 1997. As the US Open continued to grow, so did the campus, with additional stadiums and improvements guided by Matt Rossetti and completed in 2018. A major reason for this lasting success is ROSSETTI’s hands-on approach. Every year, our team returns to the Open to experience the tournament through the eyes of fans, players, and partners alike. That experience shapes our process; we are intentional with our design decisions. We gravitate toward understanding everyone's perspective of what is needed.
