We believe the built environment has a profound impact on our natural environment, economy and wellness. This is why we are dedicated to a greener future and we actively pursue scalable sustainable solutions to all of our projects. Early in the planning process, we address passive sustainable opportunities that can easily be incorporated into design, including energy efficiency, site orientation, solar mitigation, water management, air quality and embodied carbon impact. Working with the client and the project budget, we can identify additional, and perhaps more advanced, sustainable design solutions. Moreover, we will assure that the identified opportunities are implemented through construction.
ROSSETTI follows the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) process and the AIA Framework for Design Excellence as guidelines for identifying and implementing measurable green design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. Additionally, we incorporate WELL building standards for a majority of our projects. These standards focus on occupant health as it relates to quality of air, water, and light. We feel this is very important, considering the users’ health is perhaps the largest investment within all projects.
