ROSSETTI has joined HOK, one of the world’s largest and most respected design, architecture, engineering and planning firms, in a partnership that expands opportunities for ROSSETTI’s clients, team and community while reinforcing the firm’s 57-year commitment to Detroit.

The ROSSETTI team will continue to operate from Detroit under the name HOK + ROSSETTI during the integration period. Its projects, teams and relationships are unchanged.

“We built this firm on design excellence and personal client service, and we found in HOK a partner that shares those values completely,” said Matt Rossetti, FAIA, LEED AP, who will serve as a director of HOK’s Sports, Recreation + Entertainment practice. “Our clients will still work with the same people who know their projects and their goals. What changes is what’s behind them. HOK has a global network with extraordinary depth across disciplines and markets. This is the right partnership at the right time for our team, our clients and Detroit.”

HOK Co-CEO Eli Hoisington, AIA, LEED AP, said the partnership reflects HOK’s deep respect for ROSSETTI and its confidence in the Detroit market. “We have long admired ROSSETTI’s work, leadership and culture,” he said. “We’ve wanted a presence in Detroit for years, and we’re establishing it through one of the city’s most respected homegrown firms. That was important to us.” HOK previously designed Little Caesars Arena and now is designing a new stadium for Detroit FC.

Under the HOK name, ROSSETTI’s clients and partners benefit from a global network of offices, interdisciplinary expertise across sectors including Healthcare, Science + Technology and Civic + Justice, and specialized in-house resources in engineering, landscape architecture and lighting design—all while maintaining the direct, personal service that has defined the firm since its founding.

ROSSETTI’s portfolio—including the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, The Detroit Lions’ Ford Field and the ongoing reimagination of Arthur Ashe Stadium—now sits alongside HOK’s global body of work in sports, recreation and entertainment design.

The Detroit office will serve as a key hub for HOK’s Sports + Recreation + Entertainment practice, and the firm remains committed to the Detroit market and community.
