IMPACTFUL, LEED-GOLD CERTIFIED DESIGN ACHIEVED UNDER BUDGET
ROSSETTI approached the Stroh Center as a “gateway,” siting it in a prominent part of campus that is visible from the interstate highway. It immediately establishes school pride and a sense of place with its grand arrival experience, strong partner branding and university colors. The basketball-first, multi-purpose arena offers a central facility for games. An adjacent practice court and training rooms provide additional amenities and an outstanding student environment. Comfortable and activated hospitality areas, such as clubs, lounges and concourse areas create a lively fan experience. Athletes and boosters also enjoy the Hall of Fame. A variety of cost-savings design and construction approaches were used to bring the project in on budget. Since the facility was built, it’s become a focal point of campus and community activities increasing revenue by 127% annually. The Stroh Convocation Center is certified LEED Gold.
