The goal for this executive suite was to express the Quicken Loans brand of risk-taking and entrepreneurial spirit with a clear and exciting interior design expression as a motivational backdrop for the executive staff.
The ROSSETTI team took a deep dive into the client’s culture to create an effervescent, yet sophisticated environment. ROSSETTI translated the “live, work, play” culture into offices that are executive, yet don’t take themselves too seriously.
The 10thfloor offices, located in the One Campus Martius Building, are open, collaborative and fast-paced. The entire space embodies the vitality of Downtown Detroit, courtesy of bold design, primary colors, and the suites energetic patrons. Creativity and spontaneity are encouraged with writable wall surfaces and welcoming meeting spaces. There is also space to decompress by shooting some hoops in the ½-size basketball court. Expansive views of downtown Detroit include the firm’s other acquisitions close by and the Detroit skyline.
This project received immediate recognition with a feature story in national design magazines and received a 2012 AIA Michigan Honor Award in the Interior Design category.
