Design for the Miami Open professional tennis complex is inspired by Miami’s nightlife scene and showcases an elevated sports experience. The master plan strategically integrates several permanent tennis court stadiums of various sizes along with additional event-specific temporary stadium structures across the 26-acre site. The permanent and temporary venues were designed to incorporate innovative modular components that saved construction time and money without compromising features or aesthetics.

A variety of fan amenities, world-class dining environments, and hospitality options have been developed throughout the tennis campus, transforming former parking lots into lushly landscaped event zones. To create a special center court experience, ROSSETTI designed a temporary tennis stadium inside Hard Rock Stadium by adding a 13,800-seat horseshoe-shaped venue that appears to be an extension of the permanent stadia seating. The new stands and suites were constructed on site by ROSSETTI’s modular construction partner, Seating Solutions. This was an industry-leading project that featured an innovative multi-level and multi-concourse temporary stadium. Through use of carefully designed quality pre-fabricated construction products, the venue looks and feels like a permanent structure.
