CLEVELAND, Ohio - Few things in sports have evolved like locker rooms. Decades ago, wooden benches lined often dank basements with exposed pipes. Things have changed. The renovations that Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse didn't spare an inch, and that includes the Cavs' locker room, which is now three times bigger.
Green Lantern Pizza is preparing to serve up its seventh location this fall while owners cook up a brand refresh and plans to franchise the popular pizza place. The new restaurant and bar is pegged for Berkley in the former space of Sila Italian Dining & Pizza, which closed at the end of 2017. Green Lantern will open in the 5,200-square-foot space off 12 Mile Road by early October, hopefully, but "definitely by the end of the year," said co-owner John Spreitzer.
In the summer of 2013, Rossetti, the international architectural planning and design firm, relocated its headquarters to the Federal Reserve building in downtown Detroit. The first thing on the agenda: to remodel much of the building. The firm refinished the top floor, the downstairs restaurant, Maru Sushi, as well as the fourth floor (where their offices are located).
