ADAPTIVE REUSE OF a HISTORIC Detroit BREWERY
The century-old Stroh warehouse was vacant and in disrepair when ROSSETTI was hired to transform it into a luxury loft condominium complex. The building’s brick and wood frame structure were carefully restored to their original grandeur. Careful planning bolstered the use of the existing main pedestrian corridor, took advantage of the building’s southern exposure, and allowed for great views of the Detroit River and surrounding city.
Each loft unit offers exposed timber and brick, large expanses of windows, hardwood floors and an open, modern kitchen. Top floor units are designed with a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop deck. The ground floor offers secure, indoor parking and large outdoor plazas. Offices and an upscale restaurant provide the complex with 24/7 appeal.
