BANK VAULT TRANSFORMED INTO COLORFUL WORKPLACE
ROSSETTI activated the windowless, underground space with design that matches the company’s high-energy culture.
Quicken Loans relocated its national clearing house for real estate title work in the vault of the historic Federal Reserve Bank. Designers worked to expand interoffice views and brighten the space with color, light and transparency. Vault doors and bank elements are incorporated into the design. The mechanical systems and loading dock are exposed through floor-to-ceiling windows to celebrate the functions that bring the building to life.
Playful elements, like colorful, recessed lighting and custom wall coverings, brighten and activate the space. Sculptural paper cloud chandeliers were inspired by the office’s paperwork function.
