THE 1970's

"It would have been nice to be a
black cape architect. But we made
a conscious decision to focus on
our clients."

GINO ROSSETTI

The humility of our beginning shows
in the first three projects – a Christian
Science roof, a Yankee Chicken fast
food shack + a generator for a hospital.
Even then the firm only collected 70%
of the fees.

"We had many lucky things happen."

GINO ROSSETTI

Meeting the right people used to be
called lucky. Now it’s called networking.
Rossetti had the right talent, team +
philosophy in place when the lucky breaks
came. “We learned as a firm we had to
be responsive to somebody else…in a
smart way + a quick way.” The chance
meetings set the course for a decade
of office + hospital design work.
